David MarfitanoDavid enjoys serving a diverse base of clients with backgrounds in a variety of industries and occupations. In addition, he is familiar with the technically unique tax aspects of the oil and gas industry.
David has been an adjunct faculty member for various graduate level tax and accounting courses at Regis University. He has assisted in the development of several courses in the Masters' programs. He is a recipient of the University's Excellence in Teaching Award.
David was a tax manager in the Denver office of a national accounting firm prior to opening this practice in 1986. While in that position, he was in charge of the office's tax recruiting, taught various firm wide courses, and was responsible for a variety of clients. He also served as a coordinator for the first Japanese trade mission to the state of Colorado.
Professionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants where he is a frequent participant in the Tax Study Group.
David is a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of Denver, having served on the boards of both the Club and its related Foundation.
He is an interested alumnus of Western State College (BA Business & Accounting) and Colorado State University (MS Accounting with Emphasis in Taxation).
Bobbie MarfitanoBobbie worked for various tax preparation and local accounting firms prior to the opening of this practice. During that time she specialized in a broad base of tax return preparation and compliance matters.
Her initial educational background in computer information systems has aided the firm and clients in staying technically proficient.
Bobbie is a member of the American Society of Women Accountants where she hosts a monthly study group. She is a licensed Enrolled Agent which allows her to communicate directly with the IRS to efficiently resolve client related questions.
Bobbie is a proud alumnus of Colorado State University (BS Computer Information Systems).
